Seeing as its the end of the week and somewhere around 45 degrees outside, a Thursdays post is in order.
Somehow I stumbled across a Chicago based group, Kids These Days. I’m pretty sure they popped up on my Facebook NewsFeed, so thank you to whoever found them and shared them in the first place.
Kids These Days is a band made up of seven unsigned artists. They are home to a rapper, a blues-rock trio, horns and a female vocalist. It is quite honestly incredible how they manage to put together their music. The way their songs are arranged keep the listener engaged and attracted to what might come next.
With one EP released, Hard Times, the band is on tour around the United States. You can buy it on iTunes.
There is no doubt in my mind that this album will be a Thursdays classic. Nothing brings friends together better than music created by friends. So, next time you’re outside with a hookah and your closest friends – put this on.
